Rabia Mobeen, a PhD student at the University of New South Wales School of Optometry and Vision Science, has been awarded The Hikaru Hamano Travel Fellowship.
This is the first time that an UNSW student has been awarded the fellowship, which is awarded to the student whose abstract received the highest number of votes during the selection process.

Earlier this year Ms Mobeen received a 2019 Joe and Janet Barr Early Career Cornea and Contact Lens Research Award from the American Academy of Optometry Foundation.
