Drs Kate and Paul Gifford, developers of the respected portal myopiaprofile.com, have launched a free online course, entitled ‘Myopia Management in Practice’.
The text based course is available worldwide and has been designed for every practitioner interested in furthering their skills on myopia management – whether they’re just starting out, wanting to learn new clinical skills or looking to understand the latest on complex concepts.
Dr Kate Gifford, who has 15+ years of clinical experience and a PhD in the area of myopia, has organised the course into four portals covering the following topics: Understanding the fundamentals; Getting started in practice; Myopia management options; and Expanding your clinical skills. It also includes reflection questions, peer discussion opportunities, multiple choice questions to test learning and self-setting learning objectives.
Each portal takes around two hours to complete but can be done at the participant’s own pace.
