Gerry & Johnson Optometrists, owned by high profile clinical optometrist, peer educator and researcher, Dr Kate Gifford, has joined George & Matilda Eyecare.
The move will enable Dr Gifford to continue her clinical work and pursue her interest in educating peers in Australia and overseas, while George & Matilda Eyecare manages the business aspects of her Brisbane CBD practice.

Dr Gifford said she also hopes joining George & Matilda will enable her to expand her influence on changing clinical practice patterns in Australia and around the world, especially in paediatric optometry practice and myopia management. She will continue to work alongside her optometrist husband Dr Paul Gifford, through their internationally recognised online portal, Myopia Profile.
