The Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) has identified a bogus website promoting its 35th Congress, to be held from to 22–26 April 2020 in Xiamen, China. The bogus website (apao2020.org) has no relationship with the APAO or the Congress and should not be used.
The APAO has stated, “the Asia- Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) has no relationship whatsoever with this website, or the congress that it represents”.
The official website for APAO 2020 Congress is 2020.apaophth. org. Look for the registered trademark: Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology Congress® and APAO Congress® on communications.
