Essilor Xchange to Demonstrate Commitment to Independents

The Essilor Xchange Roadshow is touring Australia and New Zealand this month, introducing independent optometrists, who are Essilor REACH and Platinum Partners, to its new products as well as its marketing and consumer support.

The event will introduce attendees to Essilor’s new Transitions Gen8 photochromic lens, the Essilor ‘See More Do More’ advertising and marketing campaign, as well as initiatives for continued growth.

Pierre Longerna, Essilor CEO and Country Manager, said the Roadshow is Essilor’s opportunity to thank the independent segment for its support. “Partnering with our most loyal independent customers goes beyond products; it demands a comprehensive suite including sales support, education and training, business portals, local laboratory networks and more.

“Our commitment to independent optometry is as strong as ever as we will demonstrate through this year’s consumer advertising of a multi-pair lens offer and our product marketing campaigns. Our consumer advertising will encourage patients to request Essilor products from their local optometrist.”

The events are being held in Adelaide, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Canberra, Newcastle, Sydney and Perth as well as in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland.

Tara McCabe, Director of Business Partnerships and Marketing, acknowledged the benefits of the Essilor Partner Programs in rewarding loyal customers and said “Roadshow attendees have the opportunity to participate in a new incentive offer between March and June with the reward of attending a professional conference in Thailand in August.”
