Optometry Western Australia (OWA) has advised it will make a number of presentations, originally scheduled for WAVE2020, available free of charge to optometrists.
WAVE2020 – OWA’s annual optometry conference, was cancelled due to COVID-19.
In a statement, Evan MacRae OWA Executive Officer said, “in partnership with Optometry Australia and the Institute of Excellence, (OWA has) arranged for a number of WAVE scheduled speakers to present online and in a time frame that is WA centric. Rather than have you sit for two days, we will be scheduling the talks over a number of Sundays”.
WAVE@home will be presented as a series of free 90 minute webcasts on Sundays from late March. More information is to follow, or visit OWA’s website.
