Experienced executive Fabrizio Curci has been appointed CEO and General Manager of Marcolin Group and will lead the Italian eyewear giant into its next phase of development.
Marcolin Group Chairman Vittorio Levi described Mr Curci as a “a seasoned executive with a vast and impressive international track-record in several industries”.
He said Mr Curci will lead the group’s continued transformation, building on its strategy to consolidate its global leadership in the eyewear industry.
Fabrizio Curci was previously CEO and General Manager of Fiera Milano S.p.A. from September 2017 to June 2020. He holds a degree in Economics from Bocconi University and attended the Managerial Development Programme at SDA School of Management. Mr Curci has significant experience in the automotive industry and over the years has held executive roles of increasing responsibility in leading companies. He started his professional career at Olivetti Tecnost and FIAMM before joining Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Group in 2007, where he worked for ten years becoming Head of the Alfa Romeo brand for the EMEA region and Head of Alfa Romeo Global Launch.
Mr Curci, who commenced the role as CEO and General Manager on 22 June 2020 said, “I am pleased and proud to lead the management team of Marcolin Group and to step into this amazing industry, made of design, creativity and craftsmanship. It will be an exciting journey”.
