Registration is now open for The Cornea & Contact Lens Society of Australia (CCLSA) Masterclass returning face-to-face in Fremantle, WA on Sunday 7 March 2021. The program will focus on the increasing connections between dry eye, myopia and toric RGPs and present ample opportunity for industry networking.
Presentations and Workshop topics have been chosen based on feedback from recent graduates and experienced practitioners alike, who are seeking educational topics relating to general and speciality contact lenses, dry eye and myopia control.
The workshops aim to equip attendees with an understanding of myopia control and the importance of having an arsenal of treatment options to control it; how toric RGPs are necessary to fit OrthoK; and the role of contact lens fitting as a way to manage dry eye and ensure proper patient care.
Speakers include Monica Jong, who will share the latest developments in myopia management, Samantha Lee who will present recent data from the WA-ATOM study and discuss the ramifications, and Art Epstein who will present Why Dry Eye Patients Fail: And How to Fix Them.
The event will also feature interactive workshops; one on fitting toric RGPs with live fitting on a real subject and another on dry eye and the ocular surface.
