An innovative, fast-acting multi-dose preservative-free lubricant eye drop1 will be launched at a free webinar hosted by Alcon in April.
Optometrists who attend the webinar will hear from Associate Professor Maria Markoulli (University of New South Wales) and New Zealand optometrist Adele Jefferies, who will discuss management strategies for dry eye disease.
The two eye care professionals, who have a special interest in dry eye management, will talk about the glycocalyx, the effect of reduced blink rates and environmental stress on the ocular surface, and the role that products in the Systane(R) family of ocular lubricants play in managing dry eye.
The Systane Ultra Preservative-Free virtual launch events will be held on Tuesday 13 April at 5pm (AEST) and Tuesday 20 April at 7pm (AEST) or 9pm (AEST)
