The Cornea and Contact Lens Society of Australia (CCLSA) will present its penultimate webinar for this year on 31 October via Zoom.
With a focus on myopia, Made in Australia: Leading the World, will offer a series of presentations, panel discussions and question and answer sessions from some of the country’s experts in contact lens research, development and practice.
Attendees will come away with the latest data on myopia, advice on reducing the risks of progression, and strategies for myopia management in practice including the use of various interventions such as orthokeratology and multifocal soft contact lenses. Expert Speakers
The program, which will be hosted by Alan Saks CEO of CCLSA, will be delivered by the following experts in eye health:
- Dr Noel Brennan, Clinical Research Fellow at Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Inc,
- Angelo Doumbos, Managing Director of Menicon Australia, who has worked in the optical industry for over 17 years in Australia and New Zealand,
- Michelle Ho, Business Unit Director for Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Australia & New Zealand,
- Steve Newman, Executive Officer, Global R&D & Chief Technical Officer of Menicon Co., Ltd.
- Dr Oliver Woo, a Sydney based clinical optometrist with strong passion for paediatric vision, myopia management and practice management, and
- Martin Robinson, a Tasmanian based optometrist with an interest in fitting complex contact lenses, and managing dry eye.
