O-Show, the boutique event for the optical industry, will run from 27-28 May 2022, at the Hordern Pavilion, Moore Park in Sydney.
Developed for the industry, by the industry, O-Show provides a valuable opportunity for members of the national and international eye care community to discover the latest trends in optical technology and frame fashion.
Originally scheduled for 2020, but cancelled due to COVID-19, O-Show last took place at Peninsula at Docklands, in Melbourne, in 2018. The event was a huge success for exhibitors and visitors alike.
“O-Show is a non CPD event with the emphasis on hands on demonstrations, and the opportunity to compare and contrast new products and equipment. This is a great opportunity to discover the latest in equipment, lenses, frames and sunglasses,” said Robert Sparkes, Chairman of the Optical Distributors and Manufacturers Association (ODMA), which organises O-Show.
The event is free to attend and will feature a 100+ booth trade fair, spotlight business talks and educational sessions, as well as networking events and a few surprises. In conjunction with O-Show, ODMA will support new scholarships for the industry.
To be held at the Hordern Pavilion, O-Show’s timing coincides with the commencement of Vivid Sydney Light (scheduled for 27 May) and Musical Spectacular, making this a great time for visitors and Sydney-siders alike to be out and about in the city.
