Bailey Nelson has opened a new store in the popular shopping district on Glenferrie Rd, Malvern in Melbourne. The store will showcase the new Atelier Collection, which introduces 24 optical and sun frames to the Bailey Nelson range.
Offering eye tests at least five days a week, Bailey Nelson Malvern will be run by manager Thom Johnson and optometrist Mike Bradley, and equipped with an Optos machine, to help facilitate the early detection, management and treatment of eye disease.

“Customers to Bailey Nelson Malvern can have it all – value, style, quality, optometry care and great service. I am proud to bring Bailey Nelson’s quality frames, unique designs, and outstanding clinical care to this part of Melbourne. We expect the Atelier Collection to fly off the shelves and want to welcome people from the area in for an eye test and to access great deals during opening month,” said Mr Johnson.
The Atelier Collection, designed in Sydney, will present high-quality, functional and beautifully hand-crafted everyday eyewear to Malvern. Available in five shapes and 12 new colourways, the frames complement Bailey Nelson’s existing selection of optical, sun, and prescription sun eyewear, available in a range of lens options including single vision, multifocal and blue light filter.
“We are very excited to be opening our 51st Australian retail store in Malvern. This is one of Melbourne’s loveliest shopping spots. It’s a fashionable area with a very diverse mix of people and a great sense of community,” says Peter Winkle, Bailey Nelson co-founder.
“Our other stores in nearby Camberwell, Chadstone and South Yarra have been very successful. We see excellent growth opportunities in Malvern and across the city’s south and east among people who value great eyecare and beautiful Australian designs at fair prices.”
