Vava x Mamoma is a collaboration between the Portuguese triple jumper Patrícia Mamona and Vava. This capsule eyewear collection features the model CL0016 (left) that incorporates sustainable, organic materials and the latest in 3D-printing technology. Its dynamic design, with interchangeable rx-able lenses, enables tone changes from athletic via high fashion through to a more avant-garde aesthetic.
Optional windshields are easily affixed to protect eyes from wind and particles. A head-hugging hinge improves stability during exercise, and extra add-ons allow full customisation. Vava CL0016 won the Silmo d’Or award in the category of jury special prize. Most recently, Vava WL0049 won the IOFT Grand Prix award in the sunglasses category. Available in both regular and Asian fit, it comes in black, black matte, white and blue navy.
