Orthoptics Australia has advised that its annual conference, scheduled for 26-27 February 2022, will be held as a fully virtual event.
In a statement Orthoptics Australia said, “While borders are now open, uncertainty around travel and large gatherings continues to undermine our confidence in offering face-to-face events.
the OA Board has made the difficult decision to convert the February 2022 conference to a fully virtual event
“We want to ensure that the upcoming conference is safe and accessible for all members, and therefore the OA Board has made the difficult decision to convert the February 2022 conference to a fully virtual event.”
Registration for the conference will be re-opened by 21 January 2022 and the virtual program will be available as soon as possible. OA will make contact with those who have already registered for the face-to-face conference.
