Interactive Webinar on Advances in IOL Technology

Registration is now open for ‘IOL Technology, Why it matters for optometrists’, a two-session (22 February and 8 March, 2022) interactive educational webinar held by Alcon. Awarded 1.25i (interactive) points from Optometry Australia, the webinar is set to review and discuss the recent advances in intraocular lens (IOL) technology.

On the agenda are the topics of IOL technology and design features that matter for optometrists, the patient perspective, and useful clinical insights. Other discussions will include optometry-focussed pre- and post-operative considerations as well as what properties are important in IOL design to improve patient outcomes.

Speakers include Simon Allen B.Optom (Hons.), an optometrist and IOL product manager with Alcon Surgical, and Monica Lette M.Optom, B.Optom (Hons.), Practice Development Manager NSW/ACT for Alcon Laboratories.

As this is an interactive webinar, attendees will be required to actively participate and have their cameras and microphones on during the break-out and discussion sessions.

Numbers are strictly limited for each session, and attendees may be redirected to an alternative session, or placed on a waiting list, should their preferred session be fully subscribed.
