Research Study In-Office: Contact Lens Disinfection

Optometrists are invited to participate in a research study which aims to learn about local methods used to disinfect multi-patient use trial contact lenses in practice. The 2018 International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) Standard will be used as comparison for current disinfection methods.

The research study is looking to recruit people who meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum one year experience in an Australian contact lens practice, and
  • Currently registered optometrist under AHPRA and Optometry Board of Australia

Participants meeting the following criteria will be excluded from the study:

  • Less than one year experience in contact lens practice,
  • Unregistered practising optometry license, and /or
  • Practising outside of Australian optometric clinic.

Optometrists are invited to participate in a research study which aims to learn about local methods used to disinfect multi-patient use trial contact lenses in practice

Participants will be asked to participate in a focus group that will take approximately 30 minutes to an hour to complete.

There will be an AU$40 Coles gift e-voucher as a reimbursement of your time.
