Malama, featuring 10 optical designs named after flowers, is produced exclusively in innovative bioplastic by Mazzucchelli 1849, which is made from cellulose acetate (from cotton and wood pulp) and a vegetable-derived plasticiser. Both bio-based and biodegradable, it is strong, malleable and hypoallergenic, as well as aesthetically appealing and colourful.
The word Malama is the Hawaiian word for “to care for and protect”, a mantra dedicated to taking care of the Earth.
