mivision is thrilled to welcome senior journalist, Michelle Hauschild, back to the team. Ms Hauschild contributed her creative energy and editorial expertise as a writer with mivision from 2015 to 2018. She left to pursue other professional interests, ultimately joining Macular Disease Foundation Australia (MDFA) as Communications Manager, where she was integral to rebranding MDFA’s collateral and the development of its new website.
Ms Hauschild steps in to fill the void left by the departure of Emily Gibbs. Ms Gibbs joined mivision as a junior writer five years ago, while undertaking a degree in journalism and creative writing. She quickly became an important member of the team, attending events, interviewing members of the eye care community, and writing engaging feature stories as well as assisting with the maintenance of mivision’s website. Most recently, she travelled to Paris to represent mivision at Silmo.

Having competed her degree, Ms Gibbs has accepted a position at Australian Community Media. We thank her for her invaluable contribution to our publication and our team, and wish her well as she takes the next step in her career.
