According to a company spokesperson, this new product is a high-quality comprehensive formula to support general wellbeing, with additional ingredients specifically included to support eye health. Importantly Stiltec’s multivitamin contains the maximum dose of 1000IU of Vitamin D.
“Supplement sales in Australia are estimated at well over AU$3 billion per year, with a third of these sales going through pharmacy. The multivitamin market alone is estimated at over $700 million. This is a real opportunity for optometrists to participate in this lucrative market, and hopefully pull back some sales, which typically move from optometry to retail pharmacy stores.”
