The soon-to-be-released Cylite HP-OCT is an Australian-made optical coherence tomographer (OCT) that uses a unique snapshot capture of 1,008 simultaneous beamlets, with a scanning rate of greater than 300,000 scans per second, to create true volumetric images of the anterior segment and the retina.
In a single capture, the HP-OCT biometry scan captures all biometric parameters required for comprehensive myopia management, including axial length, keratometry, central corneal thickness, anterior chamber depth, lens thickness, white-to-white and pupil diameter. Additionally, the same single capture produces anterior and posterior corneal topography maps, plus a pachymetry map, all displayed on a single report that offers previously unavailable insights into the myopic eye.
