Peer2Peer Podcast Launched by Rayner

A series of podcases for surgeons has been launched by Rayner, the UK-based manufacturer and supplier of ophthalmic solutions for cataract and refractive surgery.

‘Peer2Peer: The Podcast’ is a clinical education platform that explores “the most important topics in cataract and refractive surgery” with episodes ranging from the ‘dos and don’ts’ of implanting toric IOLs, to marketing your clinic online, popular Rayner innovations, and female leadership in ophthalmology.

Each episode brings together a roster of carefully selected hosts and guests from around the world

Dave Maritz, Rayner’s new Marketing Manager based in Australia said, “The Peer2Peer podcast has been developed to provide busy surgeons with high quality educational content, in bite-sized chunks, that can be listened to while on the go”.

Each episode brings together a roster of carefully selected hosts and guests from around the world, resulting in a mix of invaluable insights and unscripted moments that can be listened to on demand.

The first nine episodes of ‘Peer2Peer: The Podcast’, now available, feature Dr Lisa Nijm (USA), Dr Paul Singh (USA), Dr Stefanie Schmickler (Germany), Dr Josefina Botta (Argentina), Dr Karl Stonecipher (USA), Professor Graham Barrett (Australia), Mr Paul Rosen (UK), Mr Allon Barsam (UK), Mr Andrew Turnbull (UK), Dr Eric Donnenfeld (USA) and Dr Jerry Hu (USA), Mr Ali Mearza (UK), Mr Romesh Angunawela (UK) and Ms Masara Laginaf (UK).

Why a Podcast Series?

Until today, Rayner says its resources have been developed and shared through webinars, video interviews, articles, and live events. Peer2Peer adds to this offering with extensive surgeon-led content that will be delivered throughout 2023.

Whether it is the podcast topic that is of immediate interest, or the host or guest that catches your attention and motivates you, Rayner hopes the podcast will inspire surgeons to “try something new in the operating room”.
