Specsavers Clinical Conference (SCC) will return as a hybrid event this October, with a line-up of industry-leading speakers.
Now in its 12th year, SCC will be held in Sydney’s Darling Harbour, but also broadcast live online and on demand for Specsavers optometrists across Australia and New Zealand.
Over two days, the conference will provide both interactive and therapeutic CPD content
“SCC continues to be a highlight of the ANZ optometry professional development calendar,” said Cindy Nguyen, Specsavers Head of Professional Development.
She said after delivering events both in-person and virtually over the past few years, the consensus was to continue a hybrid format.
“While some optometrists relish the opportunity to attend in person, others – especially those who live and work regionally and remotely – really appreciate the ability to upskill and improve their clinical skills and knowledge from the comfort of their own home,” she said.
Tickets to the live event, to be held on 28–29 October, will go on sale in April.
Over two days, the conference will provide both interactive and therapeutic CPD content.
The event will also see the announcement of the winners of the annual prestigious Doug Perkins Medal, to the store that consistently demonstrates high standards of clinical excellence and the Dame Mary Perkins Award for Outstanding Patient Care.
