Optometrists are invited to register for Dry Eye Spotlight 3: Management, the third in a series of complimentary global dry eye disease education initiative webinars presented by the World Council of Optometry (WCO) and Alcon.
Scheduled for 14 March, the webinar will be led by Professor Lyndon Jones and will feature Professors Jennifer Craig and James Wolffsohn. They will explore the importance of being methodical in taking different approaches to manage dry eye. Additionally, they will discuss how management strategies may be adjusted, based on a further understanding of mitigating factors and measurements collected from patients.

Professor Jones said, “One surprising fact is that 20 to 25% of patients that optometrists see suffer from dry eye. My top tip for any practitioner, when they’re thinking about dry eye, is don’t be scared by it. Many patients have dry eyes, and management is not that complicated. The use of education is one of the simplest and most impactful interventions. This webinar is an excellent place to start or further your dry eye management journey.”
