The Australian Ophthalmic Nurses’ Association (AONA) has opened registrations for its first Melbourne conference in four years.
An early bird rate is available until 1 May 2023.
AONA said the focus of the event, to be held on 23 June in Melbourne’s CBD, will be “connecting and re-connecting, sharing knowledge and strengthening our professional workforce”.
The line-up of conference speakers has been announced and includes keynote speaker, Kathryn Millichamp from Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand; Brandon Ah Tong, Head of Global Advocacy, Fred Hollows Foundation; Leanne Boase, CEO, Australian College of Nurse Practitioners; Carly Iles, CEO of Vision 2020 and Legend Lee, Senior Manager Advocacy and Policy, The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists.
