Free Patient Webinar on Dry Eye Tuesday 18 July 2023, 5-6 PM AEST

Patients with dry eye disease are invited to learn about the latest developments in treating dry eye and improving outcomes at a free webinar, hosted by Save Sight Institute, The University of Sydney.

Dry eye disease (DED) affects one in five people worldwide and is considered a growing public health concern due to its impact on quality of life. With increasing exposure to risk factors including contact lenses, screen view or use of digital devices, and other environmental factors (e.g., humidity, pollution, climate changes), the incidence of dry eye continues to rise. Despite the availability of multiple clinical therapies, devices and surgical procedures developed for dry eye, only a few have been evaluated using patient reported outcome measure.

This online webinar will cover topics to educate attendees on:

  • Ground-breaking research highlights from the Save Sight Dry Eye Registry.
  • Recent updates in dry eye: what patients needs to know, treatment options, and latest research.
  • Benefits of the dry eye registry from the patient perspective.
  • Patient reported outcomes in dry eye.
  • Understanding patient perspectives from lived experience.
