Bailey Nelson has relaunched its flagship store at Bondi Junction’s Westfield Shopping Centre, with a new fit-out incorporating three examination rooms.
Co-founder Nick Perry said the refreshed interiors provided an “elevated aesthetic” that reflected the company’s “origin story” with images of nearby Bondi Beach adorning the walls.
“Bondi Junction, along with Chadstone, is the most important mall in Australia – and this is our top performing store out of 110 globally, so it is hugely important,” Mr Perry said. “We’re also only 4km from where we launched the company at the Bondi Markets.”
From a stall at the Bondi Markets, over the past decade Bailey Nelson has grown into a global brand with 110 stores across Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.
He said the inclusion of the three examination rooms was a reflection that “optometry is the most important part of our customer journey…we’re custodians of people’s health as well as their product needs.”
