Past to Future
This year, a number of works will be on display from the Oyonnax and Morez museums of the Jura region, showcasing the evolution of eyewear from a protective tool to a medical instrument, and above all, a fashion accessory.

At the other end of the spectrum will be the Optical Design Contest showcasing eyewear through the eyes of students from design schools around the world.
With the theme of Sport this year, the Optical Design Contest presents a stepping stone for the next generation and promises to stimulates creative innovation and discussion.
Learn the Technique
Discover the centuries-old tradition and techniques of French eyewear manufacture with 30-minute demonstrations from master crafters every day from 10am – 12pm and 2pm – 4pm.
Create a Frame
You can also attend M.O.F. Lunetiers Eyeglass Craftsmanship School. These training modules are offered on demand according to the project and the level of competence. They will teach you everything from how to create your own collection including measurements, design, shaping and assembly of a frame, using computer-aided design. Create a prototype with 3D printing then dress your frame with the rigour of industrial production.
