George and Matilda Expansion

L-R: Optometrist Catherine How, Practice Manager Diana John, Optometrist Monica Massimini, Principal Optometrist Sue Joyce and Optical Dispenser Leah Pelcl.

George and Matilda Eyecare has expanded its presence in Victoria, announcing a partnership with industry veteran, Joyce Optometrists, in the Melbourne suburb of Balwyn.

Announcing the partnership, George and Matilda said Sue and John Joyce have dedicated an impressive 43 years to their practice and are well known for their comprehensive vision care and quality eyewear.

Sue Joyce has been practising optometry for more 50 years, following in the footsteps of her grandfather who was also an optometrist.

“The Joyce Optometrists practice has a rich history of serving the local community for over 80 years and are deeply respected for their steadfast dedication to delivering the best possible clinical and optical outcomes for their patients,” George and Matilda said in a statement.

… joining George and Matilda would allow the current team to stay together and the clinic’s patients to experience business as usual in terms of independent care.

“They prioritise a collaborative team approach to deliver outstanding patient care, perfectly aligning with George and Matilda Eyecare’s own values.”

Ms Joyce said joining George and Matilda would allow the current team to stay together and the clinic’s patients to experience business as usual in terms of independent care.

“At the same time, we can now enjoy all the benefits of being part of a larger, all-Australian entity that provides strong support across multiple functions, including access to wonderful new eyewear ranges.”
