
This MDFA webinar will be presented by Dr Alexis Ceecee Britten-Jones and will cover diagnosis and management of inherited retinal diseases.
This will include discussion on the clinical features associated with common macular dystrophies, how to differentiate inherited retinal diseases from other macular diseases and how genetic testing strategies vary for rare and common macular dystrophies.

About the Speaker
Dr Alexis ‘Ceecee’ Britten-Jones is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Vision Optimisation Unit at the University of Melbourne and Retinal Gene Therapy Unit at the Centre for Eye Research Australia. She is also an AHPRA-registered optometrist and practices at the Australian College of Optometry. Dr Britten-Jones’ research is on improving the diagnosis and management of inherited eye diseases. In particular, she is working on characterising different inherited retinal diseases and understanding patient-perspectives of early vision loss.
