For the first time, optometrists will come together with general practitioners, pharmacists, diabetes educators, dieticians, podiatrists and other allied health professionals at the Primary Care Diabetes Conference (PCDS23).
Eye Care Focus
Taking place on Thursday 16 November 2023 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, this conference aims to not only expand knowledge of delegates around the chronic systemic condition of diabetes, but to better understand the inter-relationship between the various side effects and potential complications.
Speaking at the conference are ophthalmologist and medical scientist Associate Professor Peter van Wijngaarden, ophthalmologist Dr Amy Cohn, and optometrist Dr Amira Howari.
