ic! berlin GmbH – the multi-award-winning independent eyewear manufacturer established in Berlin in 1996 – has become one of Marcolin’s house brands, having been acquired by the Italian eyewear company.
Marcolin will take full control of ic! berlin, integrating within its organisation approximately 140 employees located at the Berlin headquarters, and manufacturing plant, and in two subsidiaries in Japan and United States.

The acquisition is part of Marcolin’s strategy to enhance its expertise in metal manufacturing and broaden its luxury portfolio, while also strengthening its market positioning in key areas, such as Asia and Europe.
