Practising optometrists considering therapeutic endorsement are now able to enrol to complete the Graduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics at University of New South Wales.
Accredited by OCANZ, students will complete three part-time courses that cover the didactic and clinical components of ocular therapy. On completion of this specialised program, they will be able to prescribe topical therapeutic agents effectively, safely, and in line with relevant legislation to manage ocular disease in optometry patients.
This program will be delivered by an award-winning team of instructors from the School of Optometry and Vision Science at UNSW Sydney. It will be facilitated by regular live webinars and online lectures over the course of one year.
Applications are now open for the program which will commence in mid-January 2024.
