New Zealand dispensing opticians can now earn Optometrists and Dispensing Board (ODOB) accredited CPD points for webinars produced by Optical Dispensers Australia (ODA).
Each year, there will be a minimum of 10 CPD points available by joining the ODA’s popular ‘Webinar Wednesday’ live sessions. NZ dispensing opticians can also earn CPD points by watching pre-recorded webinars in the ODA members’ webinar library.
Free access is available to NZ dispensing opticians if they become an ODA member. Non-members can access the live sessions (but not the webinar library) for AU$55 per webinar.
Webinar Wednesday is streamed on the last Wednesday of every month, with the first ODOB CPD approved webinar on 28 February. Virgillia Readett from the Australasian College of Optical Dispensing will present on the topic of: ‘Ethical Dispensing Considerations’.
