Silhouette is now exclusively distributed in Australia by VMD Eyewear, following the conclusion of the brand’s long-term relationship with Mimo. The deal extends the partnership already in place in New Zealand, where VMD’s associated company, Vision Marketing and Distribution Ltd, has been working with the Silhouette brand for more than 30 years The distribution partnership was announced after Silhouette and Mimo Pty Ltd ended their collaboration. Announcing the news, Silhouette expressed its “sincere appreciation for the long partnership we had with Mimo and the hard work of Lionel Minter, Cassandra Mow, and other members of the team”. “In VMD Eyewear, Australian customers will find a distributor with knowledge and understanding our products and company values,” Silhouette said.
Headquartered in Austria, the Silhouette Group employs about 1,300 people worldwide. Rimless eyewear makes up the bulk of its product.
