Registrations are open for Ophthalmology Updates! – the event billed as the ophthalmology conference with a difference.
Ophthalmology Updates! is designed with the intention of bringing together the brightest minds from each ophthalmic subspecialty to update delegates on their field.
This year’s conference will be held at the Fullerton Hotel in Sydney, on 24–25 August.
Invited speakers are asked to prepare three talks, each lasting 15 minutes on a ‘common’ subspecialty condition, a ‘frontier’ topic, and a case-based discussion.
The conference is held in an informal, friendly atmosphere and is suitable for general ophthalmologists who want to consolidate their knowledge and learn about new topics, subspecialty ophthalmologists who want a refresher on other subspecialties, registrars preparing for their examinations, and orthoptists.
The two-day meeting is approved by the Royal Australian College of Ophthalmologists for 12 continuing professional development points; and by Orthoptics Australia for 10 points.
Invited speakers are asked to prepare three talks, each lasting 15 minutes
