The Australasian College of Behavioural Optometrists (ACBO) will host its national conference on the Gold Coast from 6–7 July featuring Canadian keynote speakers Dr Angela Peddle and Dr Vi Tu Banh.
Dr Peddle is the founding President of the Canadian Optometrists in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation, now Vision Therapy Canada. Her practice, near Toronto Canada, provides full scope optometry with a focus on vision therapy, neurorehabilitation, sports vision enhancement, paediatrics, and special needs examinations.
Dr Vi Tu Banh practises in Ontario, Canada. His special interests include dry eye, neuro visual optometry, and paediatric vision care. He has treated hundreds of patients with concussion-like symptoms.
Drs Peddle and Banh will be joined at the conference by other presenters experienced in vision therapy, among them Jen Rea. Attendees will explore topics including central and peripheral vision, visual processing assessment, and patient and practice success.
