UNSW Students Sign Up for mivision

Justin McNamara, President of the UNSW OptomSoc with Todd Tai, publisher of mivision.

mivision is partnering with students studying Optometry at University of New South Wales to enhance their educational experience and support their learning.

Students have been invited to subscribe to mivision’s free, digital, non-clinical issue, to receive the latest news on the industry, technology, careers, and eye health developments.

Additionally, once graduated these subscribers will receive the gift of an Anatomy of the Eye poster, created by Professor Paul McMenamin, and will be automatically subscribed to receive mivision’s clinical issue in print and online.

Justin McNamara, President of the UNSW Optometry Student Society (OptomSoc), said subscribing to mivision’s digital magazine would allow students to “stay updated on clinical advancements and the broader eye care landscape”.

Todd Tai, publisher of mivision, said the opportunity to partner with UNSW OptomSoc was another step forward in meeting the journal’s stated aim to “enhance the patient pathway and influence optimum patient outcomes by sharing knowledge and improving communication within the eye care professions”.

“We’re thrilled to partner with UNSW OptomSoc to support student learning. We also have plans to support the students with events into the future,” said Mr Tai. “Today’s students of optometry are our future eye health workforce, and we are committed to ensuring they have the support they need to thrive.”

Mr Tai said the independent publisher’s digital non-clinical journal is available free to all optometry and orthoptics students. Visit mivision.com.au to find out more and subscribe.
