Optometrists and ophthalmologists are being urged to consider applying for the 2024 Helping Hand Grants, to enhance their practices.
The Credabl Helping Hand Grants will be awarded to up to five recipients and are worth AU$10,000 each. They are open to medical, dental, and veterinary practices.
Launched in November 2020, the grants are designed to support healthcare practices that continue to provide outstanding care to their communities, despite varying challenges.
Practices can apply directly, or nominations can be received from the general public. Applications are open now, and the winners will be announced on 18 November.
“These grants are our way of shining a light on the dedicated healthcare teams making a profound impact in their communities.”
Each grant package includes:
- A $5,000 cash incentive,
- Leadership coaching from industry partners,
- A $500 team lunch,
- 50,000 Qantas points for your business, and
- Employee assistance program insights to support practice owners and their teams.
“We understand the immense pressures healthcare practices face, from the rising cost of living to the challenges of retaining talent and maintaining patient engagement,” Credabl CEO Stafford Hamilton said.
“These grants are our way of shining a light on the dedicated healthcare teams making a profound impact in their communities. We can’t wait to hear the inspiring stories from this year’s applicants.”
In 2022, Monocle Optometry in North Freemantle, Western Australia, was a grant winner.
