HOYA Vision Care has announced its Hi-Vision SUN Pro lens coating is now available on all HOYA Sensity lenses, except for Sensity Shine.
The unique anti-reflective coating is specifically designed for tints, polarised, and now Sensity.
The Hi-Vision Sun Pro coating not only prevents UV transmission through the lens but also reduces the amount of UV rays reflected into the eyes from the back surface
HOYA said the coating offers double-sided UV protection and improves the aesthetics and convenience of the outdoor tinting, due to the neutral reflection in dark state and the increased contrast it provides.
Prolonged exposure to UV rays can contribute to the development of cataracts and other eye conditions, making it essential to take preventative measures.
The Hi-Vision Sun Pro coating not only prevents UV transmission through the lens but also reduces the amount of UV rays reflected into the eyes from the back surface, providing comprehensive protection. The coating is scratch-resistant and repels water, grease, and dirt.
