EssilorLuxottica has appointed Amy Pillay to the role of Professional Affairs Manager for Australia New Zealand. Ms Pillay brings a wealth of experience in eye care leadership, having previously served as EssilorLuxottica’s Professional Services Manager for NSW/ACT/SA and, most recently, as Optometry Engagement Manager.
Throughout her career, Ms Pillay has been dedicated to enhancing the tools and resources available to eye care practitioners across ANZ, strengthening industry relationships, and driving professional engagement.
In her new role, she will focus on professional relations, education, and advancing medical and research innovations in eyecare. She is particularly passionate about myopia management, light management, presbyopia solutions, and the latest optical technologies.
Ms Pillay said she looks forward to working closely with eyecare practitioners, championing education, innovation, and leadership in the field.
