Kwela is the newest frame in RAEN’s 2025 Zafrique Collection, designed by Mikey February.
It features a rounded silhouette, more volume, and a modern fit, made from hand-cut acetate with ZEISS lenses.
It’s also the first RAEN frame to feature the brand name on the stem: a small but meaningful detail that signals a shift in the brand’s direction.
The campaign was shot in Cape Town by Mikey’s creative team at Spearhead Unlimited and captured by photographer Kent Andreasen. The visuals explore light, rhythm, and legacy. Personal but wide-reaching.
