National Pharmacies has opened its 20th optical store in South Australia – its first new location in seven years.
The milestone Optical by National Pharmacies store is part of a new pharmacy store, located in the health hub of a prestigious residential and commercial complex in North Adelaide.
National Pharmacies CEO Mark Smith said the group’s 20th Optical by National Pharmacies store had been designed with an open-plan layout, with clearly zoned, areas for display, dispensing, and consultation.

“Optical by National Pharmacies North Adelaide raises the bar of eye care by combining expert optometry with an expanded offering of premium eyewear and advancing lens technology, reflecting the evolving needs of our community,” Mr Smith said.
“We’re delivering not just better vision, but a better experience — one that puts eye health, comfort, and style front and centre,” he said.
The National Pharmacy group operates in SA, Victoria, and New South Wales. It opened its first optical store in SA 35 years ago and is now in 20 locations across the state.
