The International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) has released free promotional resources, to help eye professionals spread the message of World Sight Day.
People – their stories, their eye health, and their futures – are at the heart of this year’s World Sight Day, which is on Thursday 9 October.
The IAPB is again adopting the #LoveYourEyes theme, which reached nearly 200 million people globally last year.
“Posting on social media or hosting a World Sight Day event can sometimes feel like a small, isolated action. But it can have a big impact in the fight for accessible, available and affordable eye care for everyone by 2030,” the IAPB said.
“Campaigns, like Love Your Eyes, demonstrate public support for an issue. They put pressure on our decision makers and leaders to act. When millions of voices demand change, it becomes hard to ignore.
“You help us create a compelling, rational and emotional case for new policies that lead to universal eye health.”

To support the Love Your Eyes message in 2025, there are a suite of posters, activity sheets, and social media assets available.
