CooperVision’s Jennifer Lambert Honoured

Jennifer Lambert

Jennifer Lambert, Vice President of Myopia Management and Cornea Care at CooperVision, has been honoured with a Silver Stevie Award for Women in Business in the category of Female Executive of the Year (consumer products, more than 2,500 employees), and a Bronze Stevie Award for Woman of the Year in Healthcare. The Stevie Awards for Women in Business recognise exceptional female leaders whose innovation, vision, and achievements are shaping various industries around the world.

Ms Lambert was awarded for her leadership in advancing childhood myopia management on a global scale. Under her guidance, CooperVision’s MiSight 1 day contact lenses – the first United States Food and Drug Administration-approved soft contact lens proven to slow myopia progression in children – have expanded to more than 40 countries, with the most recent approval in Japan as the first and only soft contact lens approved for myopia control.*†1 Ms Lambert also spearheaded CooperVision’s partnership with the World Council of Optometry, resulting in the development and launch of the WCO CooperVision Myopia Management Navigator (myopianavigator.info). This partnership has inspired more than 70,000 eye care professionals (ECPs) across 217 organisations to make evidence-based myopia management the clinical standard of care.2,3,4

“Jennifer’s leadership and vision have been instrumental in advancing the global conversation surrounding myopia management,” said Jerry Warner, President, CooperVision. “Her efforts have expanded access, accelerated adoption,5 and inspired the next generation of care for children’s vision around the globe.”

The Female Executive of the Year category recognises women who have made significant contributions to both their organisations or industry, while the Woman of the Year award honours women in any job title for their outstanding achievements and impact. Ms Lambert was honorued during the annual Stevie Awards recognition dinner held on 10 November in New York City.
