MDFA Extends Grant Deadline

Macular Disease Foundation Australia (MDFA) has extended the deadline for 2026 grant applications to Sunday, 18 January 2026.

Two Grants Available

The grants available in 2026 are:

The MDFA 25th Anniversary Award, which provides funding for research addressing knowledge gaps specifically related to geographic atrophy.

The Elisabeth Macdonald Memorial Award, which supports research relevant to people living with a macular or retinal disease, living in regional and rural areas of Australia.

Completed application forms must be submitted via email no later than 11:59pm AEDT Sunday 18 January 2026
