Optometrists are invited to attend a free webinar titled ‘Corneal perspectives on glaucoma management’ on Wednesday 22 April, 2026.

Hosted by Glaukos and delivered by anterior segment specialist Dr Brett Drury, this thought-provoking and very practical session will improve outcomes for your glaucoma patients.

Topics covered will include optimising medication choice for long-term adherence, strategies to reduce medication burdens, and the ever-increasing role of surgery to improve outcomes in glaucoma while minimising risk.

About Dr Brett Drury

Dr Drury is an Australian trained ophthalmologist and advanced anterior segment surgeon. He received fellowship training at the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, and with Professor Lawrence Hirst in Brisbane. Through these multiple fellowships, he has advanced skills in cataract surgery, refractive surgery, corneal transplantation, pterygium surgery (being the only ophthalmologist on the Gold Coast to be accredited to perform P.E.R.F.E.C.T for Pterygium surgery) and glaucoma surgery.

Dr Drury consults in private practice on the Gold Coast, performs laser refractive surgery at Lasersight, and supervises the training of future ophthalmologists on the Queensland ophthalmology training program at Gold Coast University Hospital.
