Thinking of getting into Behavioural Optometry?

In this short video, Mr Lamas outlines the evidence-based educational pathways developed by ACBO, for both optometrists and vision therapists.

For those new to the discipline, the introductory ‘Foundations in Binocular Vision course’ is available to all optometrists. For those interested in going further, ACBO offers a ‘Practical Vision Therapy program’, an ‘Advanced Accreditation in Vision Care Program’, and a Fellowship program.

ACBO’s education program for vision therapists is also available to equip staff members to support the work of behavioural optometrists in practice. This program also offers an introduction, a practice vision therapy program, and advanced accreditation.
