Blephadex for blepharitis and dry eye management is now available across Australia and New Zealand through Optopol ANZ.
Blephadex combines tea tree oil, coconut oil, and advanced cleansing agents to help manage Demodex, reduce inflammation, and maintain healthy eyelids. A new Pro Cleanse formula, that combines high grade Manuka Honey with salt sourced from the Dead Sea, has recently been added to the product mix. The evidence for Pro Cleanse comes from studies on atopic dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, and inflammatory skin barrier dysfunction, which share similar inflammatory pathways to eyelid margin disease.1,2
Optopol ANZ has also introduced Weye, a new product range that includes face moisturiser, periocular suncream, face cleansing gel, eyelid foam, and a USB eye mask.
The Australian and New Zealand owned and operated supplier has established an online business-to-business ordering platform.
