Alcon has launched a webinar series to coincide with the release of Precision7, a new one-week replacement contact lens.
The ‘Dawn of a New 1-Week Lens’ webinar series will discuss what Alcon describes as a “new, intuitive approach to reusable lens replacement”.
While daily disposables remain the first choice in contact lens prescribing, many patients continue to choose reusable lenses – whether due to budget, lifestyle or other factors.
The webinars will explore:
- New market insights into the perspectives of both optometrists and patients.
- The breakthrough technology behind Precision7 1-week contact lens.
- Practical strategies to support patients with Dr Gina Cleo, a leading Habit Change Expert.
This free event is accredited in Australia by the Optometry Australia’s Institute of Excellence for 1.5 hours and 1G in New Zealand by the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Board.

Speakers
Dr Gina Cleo is a globally recognised expert in habit change and wellbeing, and is passionate about translating scientific evidence into simple, actionable strategies to help improve long-term health, wellness, and mindset-related habits. With a PhD in habit change, Dr Cleo is an Assistant Professor at Bond University, an accredited dietitian, and the Director of the Habit Change Institute..
Helen Gleave is the Senior Professional Education and Development Manager at Alcon Australia and New Zealand. She is responsible for face to face and virtual education programs in contact lenses, dry eye, and ocular health.
Mark Koszek was a founding partner of EyeQ Optometrists and has an independent full scope practice in Sylvania Waters in the southern suburbs of Sydney. He has a special interest in contact lenses, ocular diseases, and behavioural optometry. Mr Koszek is a board member of the NSW Cornea and Contact Lens society; and a guest lecturer for the Australian College of Optometry, the Brien Holden Vision Institute, and the University of NSW Masters contact lens program.
