RX Safety has officially become part of Shamir.
Shamir said the move brings together “two businesses with a shared commitment to quality, service, and supporting local industry”.
For RX Safety customers, the transition would be “business as usual”, according to a statement from Shamir, with Rx Safety General Manager Trent Mclerney working alongside the Shamir team over the next two years, to guide the integration of the companies.
Shamir, which has a line of high-performance safety eyewear and sunglasses with its Eyres by Shamir range, said the move would provide RX Safety customers with an expanded portfolio of frame styles, designs, and eyewear solutions.
Shamir said that as an Australian manufacturer, it continues to invest in local production, and that the addition of RX Safety further strengthens this commitment.
